Could end up with a bigger thread than his dad (albeit different forum nowadays) Would like to think that he will get at least as many pages as Paul Mullin ;-) I think Mullin will forever hold the record for the longest thread for a player who has never been selected for Wales at any level. Ha ha

Mullin has the three magic ingredients for having a long thread
1) Questionable eligibility 2) Borderline quality to be called up 3) Scoring lots of goals for a Welsh club

He was also playing when the quality was a lot less up front.

Yes, both Jiws and Eifion Williams were prolific scorers, if memory serves me right I think Eifion got a call up once but never made the game.

Yeah, his club made the playoffs so he had to withdraw and was not selected again. Cant remember the club now though. Edit- Just checked. It was Hartlepool

I notice he doesn't appear to get on Liverpool's bench lately, injured or just out of favour?

I notice he doesn't appear to get on Liverpool's bench lately, injured or just out of favour? Salah, Diaz, Gakpo and Nunez are fit. Elliot also covers wide left. Tough for Koumas to break into that squad.

Loan move next season and serious sink or swim time for him in regards to his Liverpool future, such is the nature at the very top. I'd like him to go on loan to a Championship or League One side where he'll be trusted and get decent game time and then hopefully do his thing and earn a move somewhere, we don't want another Harry Wilson situation.

Top end League One would be good. Pattern seems to be if players get dropped into the Championship too soon it's essentially a wasted season of development. Get regular minutes in a dominant League One side and build up experience - that would be best for his development

He’s 18. 19 early next season. Not sure a move to a League One side is especially likely or desirable. I wouldn’t think he’d be a regular League one starter.

Top clubs spend millions on developing players (for first team or sales), have well established frameworks and systems for young talent, but Welsh football fans know what's best for Koumas.

Get him over the County. That'll do nicely.

Tranmere loan for a bit of romance Nah, if he's going to come to League Two, let's have him at a Welsh club. Based on his international performances I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up at Wrexham.

x.com/LewisSteele_/status/1821575501993082932Not sure how reliable this guy is, but a loan to a Championship club at this stage of his career would be pretty exciting, as long as he gets regular minutes. Don't want him suffering the same fate as Woodburn.

He'd be a decent option for Cardiff. He's better than the likes of Tanner

Prefer the Brennan Johnson route of League One, Championship then PL. Hope Liverpool are putting one of their clauses in about ensuring minutes!

Woodburn picked up a serious injury so that has to be factored in.
