Anyone know if we are allowed power banks into the stadiums? Interesting question. You'd think so but they might be overcautious and concerned they could be used as a projectile. Given people need an app to get in etc surely they need to make allowances?

I’ve read somewhere that you’re allowed one power bank. They’re also installing charging points throughout the city.

We can hope... but don't hold your breath! Looks like we all still have to test then , no mention of a change to testing requirements in the latest Qatar travel advice that has just been released 🤮

Maybe some hope that testing rules can still change in the next couple of weeks. Or the dropping of masks might make the testing requirement even more necessary in their view. We'll see... in all likelihood I think testing will stay, sadly.

We're staying in Dubai. Anyone know whether we'll need to test to get back into Dubai? We're flying in and out on the day, so surely not?

Won’t need one to get back into Dubai. Just to get into Qatar on match day Great thanks, and do you know the cost / best way to do that? I’d contact your hotel, When I was in Abu Dhabi last Sept just after the UAE had opened up to tourists after the second Covid outbreak. We had to have tests 4 times whilst were there. Our hotel organised for the test lab to came to our hotel and tested us for £13 per visit. I’ve recently researched and its now around £25 now per test per visit We are basing ourselves in Abu Dhabi for the WC as the quality of All Inclusive Hotels are better there than Dubai and yes it seems we’ll need to test each time we fly to Qatar but it’s not bank breaking to test out there and theyll come to our hotel. Also our hotel is attached to the Abu Dhabi Mall and they have a lab / clinic there that are open from 8am till midnight and turn test results around in 6 - 8hrs for under £10 I’m sure there will be something similar in Dubai, I’d ask your hotel before you arrive

Another question from me sorry. Do you know whether we can do the first test in the UK before flying out, provided it's within 48 hours of then going over to doha
