Stunning, especially giving that we were missing Ramsey and Johnson. If we get the job done in Armenia anything is possible but I fancy us in a play off if it comes to that.

How do Ramsey & Brennan get back into that team? Game by game basis might have different tools but struggle to see how he might fit in for us. Said for a while. Ramsey although covers a lot of ground not quite sure he still has a hold on these games like he used to which is to be expected. |

I'm not Page's biggest fan, but fair play to the guy I'm so happy he got the win. I've always expected better from Wilson and today he delivered. Big night for a lot in the Wales camp, hopefully next month we'll remember what we did tonight to drive us forward. If its enough brilliant, if not at least we showed we can give a top team a match for the playoffs.

We need a big character like him, but it won't always be his game and if hes at 75/80% and we got Brooks and Wilson on the top of their game he'll have to be patient. |

According to We Global before tonight we had an 11% chance of automatic qualification, that's now jumped up to 34%
I'd say that's a little on the low side to be honest, Armenia have shown they are beatable losing to Latvia and our boys will not underestimate them now. Also we've fixed our midfield problem that we had in that game so I think we'll be much tighter, and let's not forget we underperformed our xG in that game, and they massively over-performed their xG. I think we win that one now
Now Turkey have qualified I can't see them going full strength for that one, I'm sure they will use it as an opportunity to give experience to some of their wider squad. Even if they go full strength they have nothing to play for, and we know we can step it up when we have a big home qualifier to finish. I actually favour us from here on out - if we win those final 2 games we win the group too - we've never done that & that almost seems unthinkable from where we were after the Turkey loss!

Player ratings;
Ward (7) - Didn't actually have much to do and that's testament to the defence, but he was a calming presence at the back and claimed some balls well at the end to relieve pressure
Mepham (9) - Has a to be said his turn around from injury to delivering a performance like that is remarkable! Didn't put a foot wrong!
Rodon (9) - Looks a different player from the Armenia performance which was a low point for him. Just shows he's one of those players who needs to be playing to perform at his best.
Davies (9.5) - Thought that was a proper captain's performance, and he used the ball better than the other two CBs so I've given him the extra 0.5
Roberts (8) - Really good defensively - I can't remember him actually putting a cross in up the other end though. However, that's not necessarily a criticism, I think he and Neco operate that way, Neco pushes up and he sits in. Had a lot coming down his side particularly towards the end and he did a decent job of filling the right spaces, but was almost impossible for him to prevent a succession of crosses coming in
Neco (8.5) - Thought he was disciplined and knew when to get forward and when to hold off and keep his position. Linked up well with the forwards and played a part in the 2nd goal with his interplay. A return to form for him
JJ (10) MOTM - Given his age & experience how do you top that?! 19 years old, on his 7th cap, a must win game against a top 7 side in the world rankings, against one of the best midfielders & midfield in world football, big occasion under the lights, manager's job on the line and he performs like that?! Ridiculous! I know Ampadu had some good performances as a teenager, but I think JJ today topped anything I'd seen from Ampadu at that age, in terms of the occasion too. Might be the best ever performance but a Welsh midfielder as a teenager? We've gone from midfield being a big worry, to having this gem of a player deliver top performances. He's turned our campaign around. I know Wilson will get most of the MOTM nominations, rightly so in a sense. However, JJ is my MOTM for all the reasons listed above. Unreal performance!
Ampadu (9) - Him and JJ are a great combo, both offer great physicality, and can both play when the moment is right. I feel Ampadu gets on the ball really well at the moment, and he's a real leader in this team. Without him and JJ we don't win tonight, make no mistake about it
Wilson (10) - Will be most people's MOTM and he does deserve the plaudits. A real coming of age performance tonight, and I think he has to start the next game. Him and Brooks seem to have a really good understanding, and he was timing his runs so well! I've always criticised him for being hot and cold, but tonight he was hot! Maybe his best ever performance for us? Thought the first goal was an excellent finish, and the 2nd very unlike him but very smart too. Delivered that quality we needed in a big game and long may it continue
Brooks (9.5) - Fantastic to see Brooks back in the starting XI, and tonight showed he's back to the top of his game. Some of his touches were majestic and really opened things up for us in a way other players can't do in this team. He's got that special something, and really deserved the assist today. I think he's earned his place in the starting XI ahead of Ramsey after a performance that good
Moore (8) - Worked really hard tonight, it must be hard for him to do that not getting regular minutes, but he's such a beast and was so important to how we played tonight. Battled hard, nothing really fell for him in front of goal but his work rate is exactly what we needed. Will be hugely important against Armenia away I think
