I wouldve left Sorba on, much better deliveries than Johnson

Think Kieffer took studs to the face there. Could be nasty.

Random fact, no picture of Kieffer Moore exists without a head bandage.

Unfortunately we look totally toothless in attack
Match could go on for 30 mins and I don't think we'd score
We are going nowhere unless we can get someone who can put the ball in the net
Really terrible to think so many seasoned pros are not capable of hitting the target. I have no idea what Spurs have done to Brennan - he'd struggle to get into the Wrexham side!
Bellamy did his bit put our players are pretty poor in forward position, except for Sorba

Two points dropped, yet again against the Turks. Promising though, if we could finish we'd be lethal.

Yeah, this will feel like a fail if this ends a draw (or worse). Nope. Because he hasn’t had much time with the players. Onwards and upwards.

At the end of the day, draw aside and the dissapointment of not beating a side down to 10 men, this was actually a very good game to watch.

Disappointing result but excellent performance. Thoroughly deserved all three points. Shame that we were let down by our finishing and final ball into the box second half (especially Johnson). But so, so much to like about that performance.

How many players failed to even hit the target when having a sight of goal? Ramsey and Rodon missed sitters first half, Sorba slightly offside. Second half chances less clear cut. Shame Brooks wasn't available. He will be dynamite in a Bellamy led side.

What if we played a game like that with page and didn't win, against ten men ,we'd be fuming, but it's a grace period new manager etc,not his fault some easy chances missed I suppose

Bellamy did his bit put our players are pretty poor in forward position, except for Sorba “Hitting the target” is a cliché, and it’s nonsense really. Having a shot on target is easy, and saving most of them is also easy. The aim is scoring, not hitting the target. To put the ball where the GK can’t reach is to also take a big risk on not hitting the target at all. I really think ‘Shots On Target’ is an almost completely useless statistic. A medium/long range shot needs to go towards the corner of the goal. That’s a tiny target. An off-target shot that just misses the top corner (we had one) is a much better effort than an on-target shot straight at the GK. We missed sitters tonight, but we were far from “toothless in attack”. We were bordering on brilliant on occasion up until the final shot.

Bellamy+players delivered what he said he would try for front foot entertaining football with high energy
its game one and I am more than happy with the performance
we could/should have won it that came down to finishing but this was such a positive performance well done to all concerned
Brennan crossing poor but he worked hard all game Sorba is the big positive along with the tactical nouse we showed in CM you could see Crofts influence on the style, brilliant appointment
onwards and upwards

What does Johnson actually bring to the side apart from the promises of something better,he doesn't even look up when crossing to pick someone out, just kicks it in the general direction, usually to nobody

Johnson and Sorba were both excellent defensively, which compensates a lot for the poor final ball from the former. We really should be accentuating the positives, of which there were many. Our fluidity and the variety in our attacking play was a joy to behold.
