If you know "plenty of people who work in law" show them your posts that suggests that "half of England's Golden Generation did a lot worse" and see what they advise you. Otherwise care to name those England players that were voyeurs and were the third sexual partner in very quick succession with a person who it was questionable had the ability to give consent? Ched Evans cheated on his girlfriend, plenty of those England players cheated on their girlfriends, wives and mothers of their children. David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, John Terry to name but three. Cheating on the mother of your kids is worse than cheating on your girlfriend, I haven't even mentioned the racism from John Terry and players arrested for assault etc. Sleeping with other people whom you aren’t married to isn’t illegal. |

Could do worse. I would back Ched to grab a goal anytime against the Latvian defence, for sure!
If Brennan is out, and Kieffer doesn't shape up, it could be Ched and Paul Mullin up front for us!

Seriously this is a disgrace, his arrest , prison sentence holding him back here
He’s an innocent person
Scored over 100 league goals in his career ( bear in mind he missed 3 seasons )
If our association is going to hold grudges on past misdemeanours them look no further than the top table !!

Ched Evans is 34 and hasn't played international football in many, many years. He's not getting called up. That's not holding a grudge - it's called being realistic.

Am I missing something? He's 34, was released from prison 6 or 7 years ago. Since then, he only has 6 championship goals in the last season and a half and 31 League 1 goals in the preceding 5 seasons. Broadhead has had a very similar scoring rate over the last couple of years, is a much more rounded player, and is 10 years younger. There's no competition.

It isn't clear what 'repeated high force contact' is? Heading the ball? Whatever it is, 'potentially life changing consequences' doesn't very good at all. I hope that he makes a full and speedy recovery |

While I am someone who has argued against him returning to international football, I am very sorry to hear this.
Hope it's not as bad as it sounds.
At some point there needs to be a conversation about safety of the players. Not sure now is the right time with so few details released.

Sounds pretty horrible whatever it is. Hope he makes a full recovery and gets back to playing, although by the sounds of it, that sounds quite unlikely. If it is indeed head damage (I don't know what else it could be?), then how he realistically go back to playing again? Sad situation.
