Best season of his life?,why do you say that? Think he's stepped up to be a leader for club and country, scoring a (small) handful of goals which hasn't reallg happened before and adapting to a position at club level well in difficult circumstances.

So, is no-one interested that Ben has done his hamstring and may not be available for the March play offs?

So, is no-one interested that Ben has done his hamstring and may not be available for the March play offs? I am firmly in the denial stage... also it looks like the dutch defender (van der ven?) is back for Spurs and they've bought another centre back. so Ben might struggle to break into the starting team again when he is fit.

If we lose Ben and Tom, and continue to play a back three, I guess that leaves with three from Rodon, Mepham, Cabango and Norrington-Davies. Rodon is sure to start and I'd have thought Mepham and RND will be favourites to join him. But for their obvious lack of game time, that wouldn't necessarily be catastrophic for our chances.

4-6 weeks out according to Alasdair Gold, whose name pops up quite a bit for Spurs reporting online.

Back in time for Finland. We've got to be sensible and get the job done against them, no experiments.

Comes across as lazy journalism imo. Ben's been invaluable to Spurs with the injuries they've had, and his ability to play CB & LB means he's ideal cover for Postecoglu. Can't see him getting sold at all. He'll also be invaluable if they're back in Europe next season which looks very likely

I think all the other Welsh links have been credible, they're prioritising a right back, centre back, wide forward, and centre forward so can see why they would have enquired about Connor, Neco, Mepham, Brooks, and Moore, but Davies has been a key squad player for spurs covering two positions so I suspect they have no interest in letting him go, and even if they did what sense would a championship loan make? If he does move in the near future I'm pretty sure it will be on a permanent to a lower prem side

I agree this seems an unlikely move, although that doesn't mean that Leeds aren't interested. Talk now is that Leeds are looking to make Rodon's move permanent, for £15 million. Sounds more plausible, although whether Leeds can afford it right now is questionable. Also would Joe want a permanent move given that Leeds may still be in the Championship next season? Doubtful.

Whatever league Leeds are in next season, Rodon should stay at Leeds, he's playing, this is his first full season as a regular.

Ben Davies is the latest Cymru International to be linked with a move to Leeds: That's 6 Cymru Internationals linked with Leeds in this transfer window, on top of the 3 current players. Bonkers. Leeks United

Anyone that understands the Spurs, know why Ben is now third choice? I assumed that the young dutchman Van der Van replaced him when Ben was injured in Jan/Feb, but then he went off injured around half-time, but still no place for Ben?

He was their second choice cb up to Jan, but then they bought the Romanian CB who came with a good reputation I believe, so he seems to be next in line behind Van der Ven. Davies seems to be second choice LB and third choice LCB

Spurs are probably going to be involved in 50+ games next season, Davies can play as a centre back, left centre back, left back and left wing back, he's been there years and his reliability and ability to play a number of positions to a decent level will see him get games.

He's had a hamstring injury in that time in fairness. He's also had plenty of gametime over the course of the season, so might be a good thing he's conserved his time recently. He always turns up match fit and ready to go in fairness, so the lack of time recently doesn't really worry me

If we do slip up in the play-offs, I've got a feeling it will be down to some sort of error at the back.

Mepham has played the last 2 matches for Bournemouth has he not? Yep! They play Luton Wednesday night next and then no game on the weekend due to Wolves’ involvement in the FA Cup.

With Van de Ven injured, and likely to miss the last club game before the internationals, Ben D could return to the Spurs first eleven against Fulham this coming Saturday.
Even if Dragusin gets the nod ahead of him, Ben could still feature by coming off the bench.
A last taste of Prem action, ahead of the Cymru camp assembling pre-Finland!

My Welsh isn't up to it. Why was his goal disallowed? Rodon offside? I believe so. Rodon was in an offside position, arguably impeding the Finnish keeper. Thats what I think happened.
