Scored the winner today for Wolves vs Man City. Underrated player for me- gets a lot of unfair stick on this board. When fully fit, his energy and abilty to break into the box and get shots away are very useful attributes. Obviously highly rated by Mick Mcarthy too- as soon as he came back from injury he was straight back into the starting line up there.

I get my girlfriend to wear a Dave Edwards mask and miscontrol a football whenever we need to spice things up in the bedroom.

Not sure if there's much hate against him, just that we have 5 or 6 better midfielders, if they could be fit. Quite cracking really, shows a bit of depth. (much emphasis on "a bit")

I tend to smile wryly at Williams posts, and not take much notice of them.....

To be fair to Edwards he was the only one ever trying to consistently get in the area under Tosh, contrast that with Davies who used to be scared to cross the half way line!
In an ideal world we obviously would not need him, but when he is on form he is a decent enough player and reliable. That being said, unless he is totally on his game though he should not be played as he was shocking against Montenegro when coming back from injury. Without that trademark energy of his he really looked useless.

He's been one of our more consistent performers for a couple of seasons, until this year admittedly. His full debut in Frankfurt was one of the most accomplished debuts of Tosh's reign In a fully fit first XI he only makes the bench though

To be honest, I'm still waiting to be impressed by Edwards in a Wales shirt. Nice goal against Scotland, but otherwise I'm perpetually underwhelmed by him. I think he's taken a while to find his position, which at Wolves is increasingly looking like high work-rate centre mid, of which we have plenty already.

I wish him a speedy recovery!

Also did well vs Norway 2008, Azerbaijian away in 2009 when he scored the winning goal, Leichtenstein at home...
He's another one of those players, like Earnshaw, who gets critisized because they don't have the greatest first touch, but his energy, workrate and eye for goal all deserve more credit.
