he was also our only player to play in all 10 world cup qualifier in the last campaign makes him very reliable and commited, players who are reliable and commited have been very hard to come by for us since toshack took charge

Why single out Gunter? He was better than Ricketts - who was terrible. And he didn't get done for the goal like Collins.
Our real problems stemmed from our central midfield trio who didn't get hold of the ball and supply the flanks; and who didn't get forward and support Morrison. Edwards - normally good at this - was awful.

Gunter is truely commited, miles better than Ricketts last Friday who couldn't find any pass. He always trys to get the crowd fired up during and before the games in pre match interviews.

I'm baffled by this post. James Collins and Sam Ricketts were shambolic against Montenegro and u choose to call out Gunter. Strange.

is it only me that thinks the lad is premiership quality?
i am so surprised there is no bids flying in for him, i think he is reliable and really a fantastic player, all nottingham forest fans think so aswell from what i can gather
am i miss something/ anyone agree he should be at a sunderland or a newcastle atleast?

yeah he could do a job in the premiership i reckon, maybe clubs are scared to take a risk on the lad because he didnt progress as hoped at spurs?
he's quite unspectacular so that might mean he's going under the radar?
who knows

I think gunter is piss poor , shocking first touch and cant even pass the ball straight exactly why hes isnt in the premiership....

i feel very comfortable when i see the ball going towards gunter or when he is on it, someone in the prem needs to buy him, i wont say take a punt or gamble on him cos i dont think it would be

i think that's a harsh reflect on Gunter muaythai..he's one of our most passionate players, and always gives a 100% for us..he's got a good touch and is very comfortable on the ball. He was very good against Swansea in both the semi-final play-offs. Without a doubt he could fit into a premiership team given the opportunity.

I think you're being a bit harsh on Gunter Muaythai. I would like to see him have a chance at a higher level as from what I have seen of him in the Championship he has done very well.
OK he has made a few mistakes for Wales but so have a few others who have played in defence recently.

His performance in Frankfurt 2007 was excellent. His development slowed at Spurs but he'll be in the EPL before long.
Besides he's the team's shop steward. All teams need 'em

Give it a couple of seasons and he'll be in the Prem with Forest, who are likely to show more loyalty to him. No point him moving anywhere.

I'd imagine that he'd be up in the Prem with Forest soon, and if not, he'll get a prem move after this season. Very good point about his passion, he's captain material if you ask me - consistent, vocal etc.

I think he is a decent enough player, he will be in he premier league again although it will have to come from forest being promotoed and then relegated the following season IMO.

What positions can Gunter play, ideally we need cover in the centre and on the wings. We appear to have an endless supply of fullbacks.
