On the bench for Arsenal as they face Real Madrid tonight. He's had an impressive pre season so far.

Another decent showing, made some good defensive tackles but didn't see much of the ball as Madrid dominated the second half. Played around 18 minutes and also missed a penalty during the shootout.

Have high hopes for Robbie.
Think he will be the next youngster to break through.
If he and Smith develop then ampadu could play at the back

Played in a deep lying midfield two during pre season.

Don't get ahead of yourselves, I don't think he's that highly rated. Emery admitted he didn't know anything about him until this preseason tour. He's very much an unknown quantity at this stage so I don't think there's anything to get excited about yet.

I mean if Levitt can be involved with our senior setup I see no reason why Burton can't.

Whenever I have seen him, and from most of what I have read about him, he has always been a deep laying midfielder, with an eye for a killer pass.

Think he has quality aboutchim. Long way to go but feel he could be the best of our uncapped youngsters.

Watching Robbie on Premier sports at Bale's Elevens. The burger is now £12.50 ... I guess he needs the money... Robbie showing some real promise, in front of a woeful back four. Not sure about the possession stats, but it feels like the Arsenal have hardly had the ball... who on earth are Angers... Anyway, he broke up some lovely moves on their part and had two exquisite passes that were wasted...

Burton isn't with the seniors, and it looks like he played for his age group as captain and scored a goal today.

Great goal on weekend. Winning the ball on the half-way line and scoring a screamer into top corner ;-)

Emery on the verge of getting sacked today and Ljungberg is among the favourites to replace him. Would be great from our point of view. He's a huge fan of Robbie.

Robbie is finally back after a long time out injured. Scored a pen last week.
Perhaps too late for him to make it into the March squad, though ;-(

Wow! Permanent too! I have to say this is a fascinating and brave move on his part. Dani Olmo did a similar move and it did wonders for his career. If he gets into the seniors it's great exposure for him. Competing for league titles, and playing in Europe. They were in the Champions League this year. Let's also not forget that Croatia always have Croatian league players in their national squad. So it is a good standard. Will be keeping a close eye on this one.

All of a sudden we have a lot of uncapped players playing across Europe. It’s insane. They were in the champions league.

Fair play, brave move for him. Realistically he was never going to get a chance at Arsenal as there are numerous young midfielders ahead of him in the pecking order.
Dinamo have a reputation for producing players and if he does well there it won't be long before a bigger team comes in for him.

How is he allowed to move outside the window? Countries set their own transfer window and Croatia's closed yesterday.

Zagreb top of the league at the moment. If he gets a few games he'll probably get a winners medal. Big if, but if he goes straight into the seniors and does well could he make a late claim for the Euros? I'd probably have him ahead of Levitt in the pecking order at this point.

Big if, but if he goes straight into the seniors and does well could he make a late claim for the Euros? I'd probably have him ahead of Levitt in the pecking order at this point. According to a Dinamo fan on reddit, the plan is to send him to the B team at first but give him a few first team appearances here and there before the end of the season. No idea if this is reliable information from an insider or just a fan's speculation, but realistically it's the best we can hope for this year. Hopefully he makes a good impression over the summer and earns himself a place in the first team next season. I don't think he's anywhere near the Euro squad, but could play a part in the next campaign.

Interesting that he’s no.4 at Zagreb. Hope that means he gets some first team action soon.

Well done and good luck Robbie.
You cannot blame him either he was never going to get a chance at Arsenal they would rather go out and buy foreign players.
