Worst player to win 50 caps for Wales?

Most limited perhaps. He played with plenty of heart, but I have to admit that mine sank every time he was named in our starting line up.

Couldn't resist sharing this, it's pure cheese. I'd expect this kind of site off Savage, not Robbo! www.robbo33.com/Solid play builds strong partnerships on and off the pitch. Just as he depends on his teammates to have his back on matchday, Carl counts on certain companies to deliver the gear to play better and the technology to reach your PC. There is an even cheesier bit of blurb on the site, major kudos for anyone who posts it. Happy hunting!

That is pure cheese. Robbo seems quite an intelligent bloke and comes across well when interviewd. The American lifestyles clearly got to him there!!

According to the BBC, Carl Robinson has retired as a player. Thank you, Carl, for your efforts for Wales.

Future Wales boss!
(Oh and some journeyman called Roberto Carlos has also retired. Hope the journos give our Robbo the column inches not that no mark with a funny name!)

I thought he retired a while ago. I follow MLS a bit and he was being talked about as the next Portland Timbers manager.

Cheers Robbo. Atleast he had the balls to turn up for his country time and time again. Seems a switched on bloke too. Think he will go into coaching. It's not unreasonable to see the " two carls " involved with Wales some day.

I would like to see history record Robinson's involvement with Wales in a more positive light than it does at the moment. You couldn't fault his dedication, a real servant that some of our other more precocious individuals could learn a lot from. Sadly, he just wasn't any good. Or at least up to the standard we need.
So I really would like to see him in charge one day, taking us to a WC or a European Championships so he goes down as a Welsh football legend which he could have done as a footballer had his talent matched his dedication.
Edit: To echo the OP, thanks for your efforts and for being reliable during one of the darkest periods in Welsh football.

Pob lwc to Carl with whatever he goes on to do. He deserved his 50 caps for his effort and enthusiasm. His goal against NI will live long in the memory too. You could see how much it meant to him

You could see how much it meant to him youtu.be/GH6unCmE070From about fifty nine seconds in. Ironically enough, Robbo's strike shut the Northern Ireland supporters up as they were singing God Save The Queen. All the best Robbo!

Probably the most limited footballer to have won 50 caps for Wales. But that's not his fault. He always gave his all and I wish him well for the future.

All the best Carl and thanks for your commitment to the cause!
One of the only Welsh internationals to have come from Powys - always a favourite in the Brecon and Radnor Express!!

I wish Powys-born Kevin Sheedy had played for Wales. That we let him slip and he ended up playing for Ireland instead was yet another example of FAW incompetence.

Can anyone help if possible?
Doing research on all Welsh players past and present.
Carl Robinson has won 52 caps but can only find record of 51.
Can anyone find the missing match on this list if that's ok?
I would be sincerely grateful for any help
Cheers
Here is list of 51 -

I recall we had that game against the basque(sp) region before the 07 WC which was a non-cap match, is it possible this is what is causing the discrepancy?

I was taking a punt that he actually played in that game- and it turns out he did, so perhaps he played in 52 but was capped in 51?

Yeah that would seem more likely, as that match isn't one of Giggs' 64 caps - so he turned out 65 times for us.
